We are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect
on the site to make online shopping at Uptown Medical possible and
convenient. Our Privacy Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how
we collect and use the personal information you provide to us, and to help you
make informed decisions when using our web site and all of our related services
therein.
Return Policy
Uptown Medical wants you to be totally satisfied with your products. If you are
unhappy with an item you purchased you may return it under the following
conditions:
- The product
must be unused and in its original packing with all the materials.
- The product
must be returned in no more than 30 days from receipt.
- Restocking
fees: 25% restocking fee on all cushions and Upeasy's, 10% restocking fee
on all power wheelchairs. (You will be informed of items that have a
restocking fee on your invoice and your confirmation e-mail.)
- Items that are
NOT returnable: Ultra lightweight wheelchairs, sport wheelchairs, any
disposable products that may come in contact with your skin and
handcycles. (You will be informed of items that are NOT returnable on your
invoice and your confirmation e-mail.)
- Also, any items
that are customized are NOT returnable
- The customer is
responsible for shipping costs for returns unless the product was damaged
or a different product from the one ordered.
- You should
contact us if you want to return an item, we will provide with an RA
number. The item must be returned with an RA and must be shipped no more
than 10 days from receiving the RA number.
- Shipping costs
will not be refunded if you choose to return an item.
- If you choose
to cancel your order after your order has been shipped, this return policy
applies. You must take delivery of the purchased products, contact us for
an RA number so you can return your items. If you do not take delivery of
your products, we will deduct the return shipping costs from your refund.
We will credit your account once we receive the items back. If you paid using a
credit card, we will credit your account and if you paid using a check or money
order, we will send you a check within two weeks of receiving your return.
